Group asks to postpone data center rezoning vote following Jackson City Council meeting

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A group seeking to rezone approximately 190 acres in Northwest Jackson to make the property attractive for a data center is asking the city’s Planning Board to hold off on a vote.

The Planning Board was expected to consider a request from Saxum Investment Group LLC to rezone the acreage along Forest Avenue at its meeting on Wednesday.
