Hundreds of students still missing from St. Louis classrooms a year after devastating tornado

ST. LOUIS, MO (KMOX) – A St. Louis area non-profit is trying to find students that stopped going to class after last spring’s tornado. “We’re looking for about 520 students,” explains Miranda Walker Jones, CEO of The Little Bit Foundation.

Walker Jones says all of the students who are unaccounted for attended schools damaged by the storms. She guesses some families have moved from the area, others may be homeschooled. If their homes sustained enough damage they may be living elsewhere temporarily…
