BEACHWOOD, Ohio (WJW) — Police are investigating after a man was shot during an attempted carjacking Wednesday morning in Beachwood, according to information obtained by the FOX 8 I-Team.

The scene is in the area of Glenhill Drive and Lyndway Road. Police said they received a shooting report at 5:30 a.m.
According to a statement from the city of Beachwood, a 34-year-old man was shot. He was taken to the hospital. No word on his condition.
“No suspect is in custody, and there is no immediate threat to the public,” Beachwood said in a press release.
