HONOLULU (KHON2) — Oahu reached 16 traffic fatalities late Monday night, which the Honolulu Police Department said is 16 too many.
“As you traverse our pretty congested roadways, we ask that you please plan your trip so that you slow down,” said Major Brandon Yamamoto. “Avoid speeding, watch for other people on the roadways and wear your seatbelt. Seatbelts have been a vital factor in keeping people safe from being ejected out of vehicles.”
