Local police department warns of phone scam involving ‘spoofed’ numbers

CAMP HILL, Pa. — A central Pennsylvania police department is warning residents about fraudulent phone calls that appear to use its phone number.

The Camp Hill Police Department in Cumberland County said it has received reports of scammers contacting residents using what appears to be the department’s number (717-737-1570).
