MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was arrested Monday after trying to stop someone from breaking into his mother’s car.
Police said Dorion Chalmers, 23, was charged with Reckless Endangerment after police say he pulled out a gun and got into a shootout with the car burglar along a Raleigh street.
No one was hurt in the shooting, and the suspect managed to get away.
