(KRON) — A San Jose classroom aid was arrested for sending inappropriate material to at least two underage female students. The San Jose Police Department said it received a report on Friday, May 15 at 1:30 p.m. that a man was sending harmful sexual material to a juvenile female survivor at a high school in the 1500 block of Branham Lane.
The suspect, according to police, was sending inappropriate messages and conversations with the student.

The San Jose PD Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force launched a comprehensive investigation and identified the suspect as Heriberto Plascencia. In the course of the investigation, detectives identified a second juvenile female who said she was victimized by Plascencia.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect and a search warrant for his residence. On Thursday, May 21, Plascencia was located and arrested in the city of San Jose. SJPD detectives were assisted by the SJPD Human Trafficking Task Force and SJPD Megan’s Law Detail.
He was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for sending harmful materials to a minor and for annoying or molesting a minor. Police say that due to Plascencia’s position of trust as a classroom aid, they believe there may be additional victims…
