BOISE, ID — A Boise man has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for dealing firearms without a license after investigators said he trafficked nearly 200 guns over a two-year period.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Idaho, 28-year-old Luke Estep purchased firearms from federally licensed firearm dealers in the Treasure Valley and later resold them online through Z-Idaho.com.
Court documents stated that investigators linked at least 16 firearms originally purchased by Estep to crimes across Idaho, including drug trafficking and violent crimes. Authorities said Estep trafficked more than 199 firearms during the scheme…
