Toledo police on Wednesday released video and 911 audio recordings that led up to the May 17 police shooting of an armed suspect in West Toledo.
In an initial 911 call around 10:30 a.m., a male caller can be heard saying: “There’s a guy with a gun.” He then starts to give the address; the rest is unintelligible.
In another 911 call, a male from “across the street” said a man with a shotgun in his car had threatened him. “He is menacing. … I think he is crazed,” the caller said…
