The annual sales of theater tickets in New York City exceed $2 billion. That industry would fit our tourist economy perfectly. Best of all, we have free marketing from Mayor Zohran Mamdani as his high taxes and increasing crime frighten away New Yorkers and tourists.
In a couple more years, theaters and producers may be ready to move, so we need to be their first choice! Let’s start now to get the movers and shakers in the NYC theater industry acquainted with New Orleans. New Orleans is their natural new venue. Let’s keep reminding them that we have top-quality hotels and restaurants available for their patrons…
