ANN ARBOR, MI – A 26-year-old Ypsilanti Township man is facing half a dozen felonies, including attempted murder and killing an animal, after he allegedly broke into a vehicle outside an Ann Arbor home and fatally shot a dog late last year.
Kevin Chenevare-Lowery stood mute Tuesday, May 28, as he was arraigned in Washtenaw County District Court more than five months after the initial incident.
The charges include assault with intent to murder and second-degree killing or torturing an animal, which are punishable by up to life or any term of years and up to seven years in prison.
