DICKSON CO., Tenn. (WSMV) – A bridge in Dickson County will be closed for at least several days after “serious structural safety concerns” were identified, officials said on Thursday.
The Dickson County government posted a notice on Facebook, saying that local officials were alerted by the Tennessee Department of Transportation that the bridge on East Piney Road over the East Fork Piney River is infrastructure impacted. That bridge, officials said, “must be closed to all traffic due to serious structural safety concerns identified during a recent bridge inspection.”
