Evansville Officers Will Be Walking Neighborhoods This Summer

One of the Evansville Police Department‘s most community-focused initiatives is making its return for the summer.

EPD has announced that Walking Wednesdays will once again take place throughout the months of June and July, allowing residents to connect with officers outside of emergency situations and traffic stops.

A Program Built on Community Connection

Walking Wednesdays first launched during the summer of 2021 as a way for officers to safely interact with residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
