MADISON, Ala. — Drivers in downtown Madison should expect road closures beginning next month as Madison Utilities begins a major water main project that will impact College Street and Church Street.
The City of Madison said work is scheduled to begin the week of June 8, starting with a full closure of College Street while crews complete water main improvements in the area.
