One of Los Angeles’ oldest restaurants is asking for the community’s help as it fights rising costs and necessary repairs in hopes of continuing to serve its beloved Mexican cuisine.
Cielito Lindo, a stand that has been serving hand-rolled taquitos with avocado sauce on Olvera Street for almost a century, announced its financial struggles in a social media post Wednesday.
The Los Angeles institution is asking the community for donations to help “keep Cielito Lindo alive for future generations.”
