Texas-born burger chain Hopdoddy offers free burgers at Austin spot for one day

A Central Texas burger joint is giving away free burgers this week exclusively at one of its hometown restaurants.

Hopdoddy will be offering free burgers to celebrate National Burger Day on Thursday, May 28. Although the Austin-born burger chain has multiple locations across Texas, this deal will only be available at its East 5th Street location in downtown, according to Hopdoddy’s joint Instagram post with Austin Eater. The Plaza Saltillo Hopdoddy will be giving away the free burgers on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The exclusive promotion includes one free classic burger with cheese if you prefer. In addition to the food inside, Hopdoddy is throwing a party for National Burger Day at its Eastside spot, fit with a Coca-Cola trailer giving away free drinks and merchandise, Driftwood’s Vista Brewing Distillery distributing “Hopdaddy” beer samples for those 21 and up, plus a Michelin-recommended Garrison restaurant pop-up…
