Are home prices near you feeling ridiculous? A new analysis found that two Mississippi cities are among the most overpriced housing markets in the U.S.
The average home value in the U.S. is about $367,000, while the typical listing price is closer to $400,000, a gap of roughly 9%. In some cities, however, that difference is far larger, with homes listed for as much as 60% above their estimated value, MoneyLion reported.
