Coos Bay bank manager indicted on allegations of stealing $1.9 million

EUGENE, Ore. — A federal grand jury in Eugene returned an indictment charging a Coos Bay woman after she allegedly embezzled money while working as a bank manager, the U.S. Attorney’s Office – District of Oregon said on Thursday.

Heather Lynn Casas, 44, has been charged with bank theft, embezzlement, or misapplication by a bank officer or employee.
