TOLEDO, Ohio — Federal, state and local leaders gathered Thursday to celebrate the opening of Collingwood Green Living, a new affordable senior housing development in Toledo’s Junction neighborhood aimed at addressing the city’s growing demand for housing for older adults.
The $29 million development adds 75 apartment units for residents age 62 and older. Officials said the project is part of a broader effort to expand affordable housing options while revitalizing one of Toledo’s oldest neighborhoods.
