SPOKANE, Wash. — For nearly a quarter century, women in cowgirl boots and flowery aprons have lined the gates of the Spokane County Fairgrounds each June, scheming over floor plans and plotting their routes before the doors ever opened. This weekend, they will do it one last time.
Farm Chicks, the beloved antique and vintage market founded by Serena Thompson in 2002, will hold its final show June 6–7, closing a chapter on what grew from a modest neighborhood barn sale into one of the most celebrated flea markets in the American West.
