EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Evansville officials say the largest splash pad in the state of Indiana is coming to Igleheart Park on the city’s north side.
The new splash pad will be built at the former site of Lloyd Pool and is being funded through a $24 million parks bond approved in 2024.
According to Evansville Parks and Recreation officials, the splash pad will be ADA accessible and designed for all ages. Plans include a dedicated toddler area, a separate play zone for children ages 5 through 12, and a mixed-use section for families and children to enjoy together.
