MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A former Mobile County Sheriff’s Office sergeant has been indicted on additional theft charges, according to the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office.
A Mobile County grand jury returned a three-count indictment against Daniel Holifield, charging him with first-degree theft of property by deception, District Attorney Keith Blackwood announced Friday.
Holifield was previously indicted by a Mobile County grand jury in August 2025 on 13 counts of theft of property and possession of forged instruments. Those charges remain pending in Mobile County District Court, officials said.
