A few years ago, August Wooten proposed to their partner, Victoria June Patterson, with a cat, locking the two together in a new way and solidifying an idea the couple had for a while.
Now, that dream is finally coming to fruition, with the two Saginaw residents preparing to open the doors of The Bubble Cat Cafe, located at 3305 S. Mayhill Road, to the public in the next few weeks. With 10 cats so far, ranging in age from eight months to nine years.
“We’ve been trying to do this for so many years,” Patterson said. “The whole time through all of it, we were like, ‘As soon as we get this done, we’ll be open in like two months.’ […] I don’t think it’s really hit either of us yet, which is crazy because it should have.”…
