ST. LOUIS – One year following the shooting that killed two young brothers, police are continuing to ask the public for their help in finding the suspect. They are now sharing video of the vehicle the suspect may have driven.
On May 24, 2025, police responded to a shooting around 9:15 p.m. near Bircher Boulevard and Ruskin Avenue in the Mark Twain neighborhood of north St. Louis County.
9-year-old Jordan Neal and 10-year-old Richard Neal III were in the car with their father, Richard Neal Jr. Their vehicle almost got into an accident with a maroon Nissan near a gas station.
According to prior FOX 2 reports, when Neal began to drive away, the driver of the Nissan pulled up next to the vehicle and opened fire. All three were struck by the gunfire.
