Woman gets community corrections for seriously injuring pedestrian in Lafayette hit-and-run

A woman was sentenced Friday to six years of community corrections for hitting a man with her car in Lafayette and driving away in July.

Jennifer Dolloff, 44, pleaded guilty in a March plea deal to one count of second-degree assault — causing serious bodily injury, according to online court records. Charges of first-degree assault, leaving the scene of a crash involving serious injury, menacing, and driving with a revoked license were dropped in the plea deal.

Boulder County District Court Judge Thomas Mulvahill sentenced Dolloff to six years of community corrections in the hit-and-run case. He also sentenced Dolloff to 18 months in community corrections in a different case, for a total of 7½ years…
