Soggy conditions continue for Friday in Arkansas. The flooding risk remains, and it’s highest in northeast Arkansas.
That risk is low on Saturday, but it’s still there from northern Arkansas, into central Arkansas, and through southern Arkansas.
There’s also a very low risk of a strong to severe storm on Saturday afternoon, mainly for a stray damaging wind gust risk. This is, again, a very low risk.
Each weekend day will feature some rain chances, but they won’t be widespread rainy days.
They will be very hot and humid, adding another risk to the weekend. Heat index values may approach the triple digits in some communities over the weekend and into Monday of next week.
When spending any time outdoors, keep an ear out for thunder, listen to your body for signs of heat-related illness, hydrate, and never drive through a flooded road.
