GARDEN CITY — Local mayors gathered outside of Garden City City Hall on Friday to warn against the risks of dirt bikes on the Boise River Greenbelt.
Coinciding with the advent of electric bikes, dirt bikes have seen a rise in popularity as well, despite differences that distinguish city-safe bikes versus off-road vehicles. For local cities, this has raised concerns surrounding pedestrian safety on the greenbelt.
