Heavy rainfall leading to areas of flooding Saturday morning, tapering off through the afternoon

We have seen several areas of flooding this morning due to repeated rounds of heavy rain overnight into this morning. We will continue to see scattered heavy rainfall through the rest of the morning into the early afternoon hours. A flood watch remains in effect until 2pm. If you encounter flooding, “turn around and do not drown.”
Eventually the rain will taper off and we’ll be left with mainly cloudy skies this evening into the overnight hours, but it won’t be quite as muggy, so lows for many will be able to fall into the lower 60s.
Sunday looks mainly dry for most, but a few spotty storms will be possible later afternoon/evening. The flooding threat is low, but any downpours could quickly lead to a problem spot of two with how saturated the ground is.
