Knoxville Police still searching for leads nine years after deadly stabbing

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Knoxville Police Department asked for tips on the ninth anniversary of an unsolved fatal stabbing.

On May 20, 2017, around 9:50 p.m., officers received a call about a stabbing in the 200 block of Leonard Place. The caller said they had heard someone screaming that they were being stabbed. The caller said they saw a dark late 2000’s model 5 BMW leaving the area, KPD said.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they found Dorian Bluford, 35, in a nearby wooded embankment. Bluford had flown to Knoxville from Houston earlier that day.
