Florida State football’s 2027 recruiting class has not been where the fan base wants it. The Seminoles have combined to have a 7-17 record over the past two seasons, so expecting a top-five recruiting class might be a little bit far-fetched.
With that said, Florida State fans are angry with head coach Mike Norvell still being in Tallahassee. After the Stanford road loss, individuals thought that the administration would fire him after mentioning that they would complete a comprehensive assessment.
The administration instead decided to keep him around for the 2026 season. While it is great and all that he is staying around a coach because I truly do think he cares about the program and has shown the potential to be productive after the successful 2022 and 2023 season, there comes a point where you wonder what happens in 2027. This could scare recruits away from the program.
