‘It’s hard to keep him down’: Sister of man shot in Austin shootings says he’s back home

The sister of a man injured in the string of shootings scattered across the Austin areaearlier this month said he is home from the hospital.

“If you haven’t heard, Sean is home and resting, although if you know him, it’s hard to keep him down,” Shannon Swank wrote in a Facebook post earlier this week.

Swank’s brother, Sean Fuentes, was among the four people shot in the 24-hour-plus event that left five vehicles stolen and bullet damage to two fire stations and multiple residences. Fuentes was shot three times while walking his dogs, according to a GoFundMe page that Swank had posted on her social media, which has now collected more than $73,000 for Fuentes and his family.

Swank posted that the day Fuentes got home, he walked the route he had taken that morning and went through what had happened…
