SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The City of Sioux Falls announced several road construction projects that will begin on Monday, June 1, and will impact travel in parts of the city.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Ellis Road Lane Closure (Revised Start Date)
Beginning on Monday, June 1, 2026, there will be daytime lane closures along South Ellis Road at 46th Street. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic. These closures are a part of the roadway and utility improvements along 46th Street from Ellis Road to Klein Avenue.
Weather permitting, day closure work along Ellis Road is anticipated to be completed within two weeks…
