A 38-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition Saturday after an apparent shark attack off Honolulu, Hawaii.
According to Hawaii News Now, the man suffered bites to his lower extremities after paddling out for a surf at Cromwell’s Beach just after dawn.
KHON reported that the surfer was bitten close to a nearby channel. He paddled to shore and was treated by Honolulu Emergency Medical Services before being transported to a hospital.
