Police in Alhambra had a message for a woman who they arrested for leaving a nail salon without paying for nearly $350 worth of services.
The exact date and time of the incident were not disclosed; however, the Alhambra Police Department said officers were dispatched to a nail salon on a call regarding a woman and her friend who “decided to skip out on their $345 mani-pedi bill.”

“With only $50 in Apple Pay money, all she could promise was that she would return the next day to pay off the rest of her set,” Alhambra PD said on Instagram. “The suspect said her boyfriend was coming to pay, but that story fizzled out after an hour of waiting.”
The police department’s post identified the suspect as Los Angeles resident Nayeli Ortega. She was eventually arrested and booked at the Alhambra Police Department Jail.
