Tampa General Hospital Launches Virtual Health Clinics for Underserved Youth With $200,000 Grant

The Tampa General Hospital Foundation has received a $200,000 grant from TD to launch Tampa General’s new Virtual Health Center initiative, aimed at expanding healthcare access for adolescents in low- and moderate-income communities.

The program will introduce telehealth “clinics in a pod” in schools, shelters, and community centers. These private, technology-equipped spaces will connect young people with licensed healthcare providers for urgent care, behavioral health support, and preventive services.
