Hummingbird Fire in Gila now at 90% containment

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Hummingbird Fire, which has been burning in the Gila National Forest for about six weeks, is now at 90 percent containment, officials with the Gila National Forest said.

The fire, burning about 15 miles east of Glenwood, remains at 5,716 acres in size, officials said. It was first spotted on April 20 and was determined to have been caused by lightning.
