HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — On this date in weather history, an F-2 tornado carved a destructive path through parts of western Kentucky and southern Indiana, leaving several people injured.
According to the National Weather Service, on May 31, 1982, an F-2 tornado touched down in Henderson and Daviess counties in Kentucky before crossing the Ohio River and lifting in Spencer County, Indiana.
