NAPLES, Fla. — Deena McNelis, a 43-year-old woman, was found dead in her North Naples home, leaving her family and friends grieving and searching for answers as authorities continue their investigation.
Collier County deputies responded to a welfare check at McNelis’ home in the Windward Isles community on May 16 after neighbors noticed trash and mail piling up at her door. Deputies found her dead inside, but the cause of death has not yet been released.
