LAFAYETTE, Calif. (KRON) — The Lafayette Police Department is warning about the dangers of electric motorcycles following two different incidents involving juveniles recklessly using them.
Thursday, Lafayette police officers tried to stop several juveniles who were recklessly using e-motorcycles, which are not street-legal, in downtown Lafayette. Police said in two different incidents, the juveniles sped away doing wheelies. Because of posed danger to the public, police did not initiate a chase but were able to identify the three juveniles who were involved.
