Brooke A. Sharp, Esq. was appointed City Manager by the University City Council at its May 26 meeting, concluding a national search that drew more than 45 candidates. Sharp has served as Interim City Manager since February 2026, following the retirement of longtime City Manager Gregory Rose. Before stepping into the interim role, she served as Deputy City Manager beginning in 2022 and Assistant City Manager starting in 2021.
