Caden Glauber has drawn plenty of attention for what he’s done this season for the UNC baseball program, but he’s not the only stud freshman arm that Scott Forbes has to work with.
Jackson Rose is another guy who the Tar Heels are very high on, and rightly so. Although he only made 18 appearances (6 starts) leading up to Sunday’s Chapel Hill Regional final, Forbes and the UNC coaching staff have a lot of faith in the left-hander from Woodstock, Georgia.
In fact, Rose was in contention to start the game on the mound, but Forbes elected to stick with his regular Sunday starter, Folger Boaz. However, this didn’t mean Rose wasn’t in the plans to take the mound at all…
