May saw the opening of a Jacksonville mom-and-pop pizzeria offering Chicago tavern-style pizza as well as the Northeast Florida debut of a highly anticipated Chicago-based chain known for its toasted, made-to-order sandwiches, hand-scooped milkshakes.
Also opening were a French-Asian bakery cafe founded in South Korea and known for its fresh breads, sandwiches, pastries, gourmet cakes and other desserts made from scratch daily, and the sixth location of a popular local French cafe concept known for its croissants, macarons, quiche and more.
