A Lexington woman has been arrested after court documents say she started a fire at a Lexington motel.
Olivia Maison, 30, was booked into the Fayette County Detention Center Friday, May 29, and charged with first-degree arson. Her arrest citation says she started a fire in a hotel room at the Sportsman Motel on Winchester Road with a handheld lighter earlier that day.
Details of the incident are similar to a fire that the Lexington Fire Department said happened at a fourplex behind the motel.
