ORLANDO, Fla. – Tropical moisture has made its presence known across Central Florida for the past few days, but it will start to lose its hold over our area as we move through the work week.
It will have enough influence to continue scattered downpours for your Monday afternoon. Expect a dry start with a mix of sun and clouds for the morning commute. Showers and storms will begin to develop around lunchtime, favoring areas north of Seminole Cunty, mainly Marion, Volusia, and Flagler counties. These storms will continue to drift south and east as the afternoon roles on. Areas south of Seminole County will have their best chance to see these storms during the evening commute.
We will hold onto this tropical moisture through Wednesday, leaving room for scattered downpours in the forecast each afternoon. Highs will hover around the 90 degree mark…
