ST. LOUIS – Thousands of people are without power Monday morning amid a severe thunderstorm across the St. Louis region.

Ameren reports that more than 4,200 customers are without service in Missouri, including nearly 2,300 in St. Louis City. More than 570 people in Illinois are also without power during Monday morning’s storm activity.
