SF Labor Federation launches monthly ‘Labor Brunch’ series

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – The Sioux Falls Labor Federation is launching a monthly Labor Brunch, open to union members, workers interested in joining or forming a union, and anyone who wants to help build “working class power” in the Sioux Falls area.

According to a news release, the first gathering will be held on Sunday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Sioux Falls Labor Temple at 101 S Fairfax Ave.

Breakfast is free and the event is family-friendly. The series will continue on July 12 and August 9, with plans to keep meeting on the second Sunday of every month.

The brunch is designed as a space for connection and learning opportunities, the news release said. People are welcome to attend at any point during the two-hour window, grab a plate, and talk with others in or around the labor movement. No registration is required…
