Firefighter injured during business fire on Evansville’s north side

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Firefighters were on the scene of a business fire on Evansville’ north side Monday night.

Vanderburgh County Dispatch says they got a call about the fire at Bobcat of Evansville around 6:34 p.m. This is in the 2900 block of Lynch Road, just west of Oak Hill Road.

A portion of Lynch Road was blocked off for a short time while fire crews work to put out the fire. Crews say they saw some flames and there was a lot of smoke coming from the building.

Officials at the scene tell us that a firetruck happened to be passing by that scene while the fire was going and they were able to assist in putting that fire out…
