State Route 116 back open in Anderson County after flash flooding, TDOT says

ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — State Route 116 near Petros is back open after flash flooding took place Saturday morning and washed away portions of the road for the third time in just over a year, according to Tennessee Department of Transportation spokesperson Mark Nagi.

On Sunday, TDOT crews began repairing a broken pipe and filling in the road sections that had washed away with rock.
