MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Derrick Simon, 28, of Mobile, was arrested Sunday and is being held at Mobile County Metro Jail on domestic violence and criminal mischief charges.
According to police, at about 7 a.m. officers responded to the 1800 block of Luckie Avenue in reference to a domestic complaint. They met with the victim, who told them Simon gained access to the residence by kicking in the front door.
Once inside, the victim told police, he destroyed multiple items. After the subject exited the home, he allegedly vandalized the victim’s vehicle.
Police said Simon was later found at a different location where he was taken into custody without further incident…
