MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Montgomery Mayor Steven L. Reed on Tuesday promoted the city’s summer youth and family programming, pointed to what he called progress on public safety, and outlined plans to redevelop the historic Fairview Farmers Market as part of broader investment in West Montgomery.
Reed spoke during the city’s monthly media availability at the market site on West Fairview Avenue, using the location to highlight redevelopment plans intended to expand access to fresh food and create opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
